The packed itinerary included visits to the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre, where pupils had the opportunity to admire some of the world's most celebrated works of art, alongside a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, offering a fascinating insight into France's royal history. Pupils also explored the historic Notre-Dame Cathedral and Père Lachaise Cemetery, the final resting place of many famous figures, including Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.
No visit to Paris would be complete without experiencing its most famous landmarks, and our pupils certainly made the most of their time in the city!

Highlights included the spectacular Eiffel Tower, the Trocadéro, the Arc de Triomphe and a stroll along the famous Champs-Élysées. A cruise along the River Seine provided another memorable opportunity to appreciate the city's stunning architecture and historic sights. There was also plenty of walking as pupils explored the streets of Paris, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying everything the French capital has to offer!
The pupils had an absolutely fantastic time and, as always, were a real credit to The Blue Coat School, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the visit. Experiences such as these are an invaluable part of education beyond the classroom,
broadening horizons, developing cultural understanding and creating lasting memories. A huge thank you to Mr Adamson, Miss Bosworth and Mrs Bermejo-Albinana for their hard work, enthusiasm and commitment in organising and accompanying the trip, ensuring that our pupils enjoyed such a memorable and rewarding experience.
