The day began with a warm welcome from the University's Student Recruitment Officer, who introduced students to the wide range of courses, support services and opportunities available at the University of Liverpool. The session also provided valuable guidance on higher education pathways, helping students to understand the options available as they begin planning for life after sixth form.

Students then took part in a guided tour of the campus, exploring the University's impressive teaching facilities, study spaces and student amenities. Walking around the campus gave students a genuine feel for university life and helped them imagine what studying in higher education could be like.

The visit also included a Student Life presentation, which highlighted the many academic, social and extracurricular opportunities available to undergraduates. From clubs and societies to volunteering, sports and student support, students gained an appreciation of the diverse experiences that complement university study. The presentation concluded with an interactive workshop, encouraging students to reflect on their own aspirations and future goals.

The visit proved to be both informative and inspiring, giving students a greater understanding of higher education and the confidence to begin thinking more seriously about their future pathways.
