A team of Blue Coat students recently took part in the prestigious UKMT Group Round National Final, competing against 60 teams from across the United Kingdom, including six schools from China.
The event provided a challenging and exciting opportunity for students to test their mathematical problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills at the highest level. While the team did not finish among the top three overall, they achieved an outstanding success by once again winning the Poster Round.
This achievement is particularly impressive given the high standard of competition and reflects the dedication and preparation of everyone involved. Special thanks go to Ms Barwell, who worked closely with the students in the lead-up to the event on the design and development of their poster. Her guidance and support played a significant role in helping the team secure this excellent result.
As a reward for their success, the winning poster will now be professionally produced and shared.
Congratulations to all the students who represented Blue Coat so brilliantly. Their hard work, commitment, and achievement on the national stage are a credit to themselves and to the school. We are incredibly proud of their success.
