This change will simplify our uniform expectations, reduce costs for families by removing the need for regular lanyard replacements, and promote a consistently smart standard of dress. Students will continue to use their ID cards for access to catering services.

The introduction of year group ties also reflects our wider focus on belonging at Blue Coat, supporting a shared sense of identity, pride and unity across the school community. Each student’s first tie will be provided free of charge by the school. Replacement ties will be available from our approved suppliers at a cost of £8.
