We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational female PE teacher to join our dedicated Physical Education department on a maternity cover basis.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high quality PE lessons and committed to providing an engaging, inclusive and challenging curriculum for all students. They will also play an important role in our extensive extra-curricular and competitive sports programme.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience and expertise in netball, athletics, handball.

The successful candidate will contribute to the wider life of the department through lunchtime and afterschool clubs, fixtures, competitions and other sporting opportunities.

We are looking for someone who:
•Is an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Physical Education
•Has a strong understanding of the secondary PE curriculum
•Can deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive PE lessons
•Is committed to developing students’ confidence, skills and enjoyment of sport
•Will contribute enthusiastically to our extra-curricular provision
•Works effectively as part of a supportive and successful PE department.
