From the opening whistle, the team showed great energy, determination and togetherness. The girls worked hard across the pitch, created plenty of attacking opportunities and defended strongly to keep a clean sheet. It was a real team performance, with every player making an important contribution and supporting one another throughout the match.

The result reflects the progress the team are making and the commitment they continue to show in training and f ixtures. As well as the six goals, it was particularly pleasing to see the conf idence, communication and teamwork on display, with the players continuing to push themselves right until the f inal whistle.

Competing in the ESFA programme gives our pupils valuable opportunities to represent Blue Coat against schools f rom across the region, and performances such as this demonstrate the strength and enthusiasm of girls’ football within the school.
