For their first challenge, the group tackled a classic favourite – French toast. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning how to prepare and cook their dish, developing their confidence in the kitchen along the way. Of course, the best part was being able to sit down afterwards and enjoy their delicious creations!
The Cookery Club provides pupils with a wonderful opportunity to learn practical skills, try new recipes and develop greater independence in the kitchen. The focus will be on creating tasty, straightforward dishes that pupils can also recreate at home for family and friends. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm at the very first session.
