We are seeking a proactive and skilled Technology Technician to provide comprehensive support across our thriving Technology department.  This multifaceted role ensures a safe, organised, and effective learning environment by preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

You will support practical education in design technology, food technology, textiles, and art, assisting teachers and students during lessons (where required).

Key Responsibilities:

•Prepare and clear away materials, tools, ingredients, and equipment.
•Provide in-class technical advice and ensure safe use of machinery.
•Conduct routine safety checks and perform basic maintenance (ovens, workshop tools, sewing machines).
•Monitor inventory of materials and supplies.
•Maintain a safe, organised and engaging learning environment.

We are looking for an individual with experience using workshop tools, knowledge of food hygiene, and health and safety experience. Experience with laser cutters and CAD/CAM programmes is desirable.

Experience of working within a school environment is desirable.
