This month our Year 7 students have created their very own fantastic Totem Poles. Each unique and colourful design is based on an animal they feel a strong connection with. This exciting project will prepare Year 7 for their next topic “The concept of God”, which will be their spring term study.
Mrs McDonnell Head of R.E. said, “this term Year 7 have really used their imagination to great effect and have created some truly remarkable examples of Totem Poles, which are collective symbols representing both God and society.”
The Totem Poles featured alongside this article have been chosen by R.S. Sixth Form prefects, and each student has been awarded a House Point for their design and effort.
