On Wednesday 4th February, as part of the School’s process of preparation for University, parents and Year 13 students were invited to find out about student finance and the application process for student loans, bursaries and grants. Information regarding the next steps in the UCAS process, including deciding on offers, Extra, what happens on Results’ Day and Adjustment and Clearing, was kindly provided by Ms Holland. Philip Bakstad from Liverpool John Moores University also gave an excellent and informative presentation on the student finance process.
If anyone requires a finance booklet, one can be collected from the School Office.
Year 13 students are urged to start their application for finance as soon as possible: the deadline is the end of May.
