Blue Coat School Business Studies students recently took part in a competition based on The Apprentice television series to hone their entrepreneurial skills.
This involved a range of creative challenges to do with every stage of taking a product from the concept to the sales stage. The products ranged across a wide spectrum of goods and included a new shoe, a budget airline and a comic book.
Mr Farrell, Business Studies and Economics teacher, said: “Our Year 11 Business students have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this Apprentice-style competition with a tough month of assessments in which they undertook a range of creative challenges.
“This included the planning, design, marketing and presentation of a series of products and services. The students developed a range of enterprise skills and came up with some brilliant ideas.”
