As a School, we challenge and encourage students to succeed academically, and it is very important that we support our students in their next steps. The annual Careers Fair provides a very good platform for our senior students to look at a wide variety of options, both studying from an increasing number of subjects at University and investigating alternative routes to careers.

Whilst financial support is very much appreciated, we are fortunate that many people help support our students by sharing their skills and expertise. We regularly hold Careers Fairs and Enterprise Days and also organise talks for our students on a variety of topics.

A number of people from across The Blue Coat School community, particularly our parents and Old Blues, volunteer to support our students and activities. Below are some examples of how you could help –

  • Host a stall at our Careers Fair
  • Help with mock interviews with our Sixth Form students
  • Offer work placements/ work experience at your company
  • Come in to speak to our students about your career path.
