P.E. Subject Coordinator Miss Fitchie reflects on a fantastic spring term for our sports teams, who have made excellent progress in a variety of local and national competitions.

Netball

The hard work and dedication shown by our netball players during countless lunchtime and after School training sessions, lies at the heart of their longstanding success. During spring term our Year 10 netball team were crowned winners of a city-wide tournament, this talented and energetic team have not lost a city championship tournament since Year 7, an achievement the whole team should be proud of.

Following in the footsteps of their Year 10 counterparts, our Year 8 and 9 teams remain unbeaten this season, with Year 9 claiming victory in the City Championship Tournament beating St Hilda’s 9-3 in the final.

Our Year 7 players continue to make excellent progress, having won the Liverpool Netball City Championships, following a closely fought match against St Hilda’s. The final score was 4-3.

In total we currently hold three Liverpool Netball City Champions titles!

All of our teams were in action during our annual visit to Boreatton Park in Shropshire for a two day tournament. For more information about this much loved tourament event please click here.
