In our spring community e-newsletter we reported on a new mental health initiative Sophron, launched by Old Blue Edward Lynch, from the Class of 2013, and his colleague Tobias Fox. During weekly sessions held during the spring term Edward and Tobias equipped our students with techniques and steps designed to support their mental health.
We are delighted to report that earlier this month Edward and Tobias were awarded the prestigious HRH The Duke of York Young Entrepreneur award, having been nominated by the University of Liverpool.
The pair are now in talks with a number of large investors and interest in the Sophron has grown at an unprecedented rate.
In spite of their new found fame Edward and Tobias’ goals at Sophron remain the same: “to create lasting social change where people are in a better position to look after their health and life, in a completely holistic manner.”
We would like to congratulate Edward and Tobias on their remarkable achievement and wish them the very best of luck with their initiative.
