Biology

Biology introduces students to the living world, starting from its simplest form of cells and tissues to the more complex interaction of whole ecosystems. An understanding of an ever-evolving and adapting planet has never been so important as the world faces unprecedented challenges in regards to its treatment and respect for the environment.

Biology aspires to develop scientific curiosity through practical work, teacher demonstrations, and creative activities, whilst teachers use their excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm to create a varied and tailored learning experience for each student. Students will gain an admirable understanding of the living world and a skill set suitable for a wide range of scientific careers if they choose to study the subject in higher education.
