National Accolade

The Sunday Times has ranked us as the North West Secondary School of the Year in their annual Parent Power Survey.

The award is determined on a number of criteria. Not only do judges look at information such as exam results, progress data and university placements, but they also place a strong emphasis on parent feedback and the focus a school places on health and wellbeing.

While no school does all that is does for awards and accolades, it is important that we celebrate moments where the ethos and efforts of our community are recognised – this is, after all, a real team effort.

The support we receive from our parents and community is truly heartening. Our staff continually go above and beyond to bring learning to life and provide outstanding pastoral care, and our students inspire us daily with their talents and determination.

At the centre of our approach are our three school ambitions that launched in recent years. Not only are we committed to providing academic excellence, but our role in shaping the character of our students and helping them forge their own futures is at the heart of everything that we collectively achieve.

Thank you for all your ongoing support.
