We are delighted that Jennifer Graham has joined the staff team at the School for a ten month full-time internship. Jennifer is an Old Blue of the School from the Class of 2008. After leaving school she studied American Studies at University and spent a year in America as part of her studies. She has since completed her Masters and hopes to begin her PHD studies in September.
Jennifer will be working with Cat Gransden our Director of Development, supporting our development activities, and particularly focusing on engaging with our younger Old Blues and supporting our website and social media activities.
We are very grateful to the Brotherly Society for generously providing the funding for this paid internship. The internship was open to Old Blues to apply for, particularly those on a Gap Year seeking to gain work experience, and we were delighted to see so many of our Old Blues were interested in this opportunity.
Mr Keith Caulkin, physics teacher and President of the Brotherly Society was part of the interview panel and is pictured with Jennifer above;
“It was a fantastic experience to meet so many of our Old Blues and I found it very heart-warming to hear about the wonderful time they had at the School and their desire to ‘give something back’. We are pleased to be able to offer training and volunteering opportunities to all the Old Blues who applied for the position to help them gain valuable skills and experience for the future.”
