The Blue Coat School’s Christmas Collection for food banks is going ahead this year in spite of the Covid health crisis. Although the Covid guidelines have restricted us from doing our usual event we are determined to continue our charitable activities with a five-day appeal led by our Sixth Form students.
We would be grateful if students throughout the school can bring in their donations from this Thursday (10 December). Items required are: Long-life milk, coffee, tea, instant mash, pasta, tinned custard/rice pudding, Jam, toilet rolls, tinned vegetables, toothpaste, shampoo, tinned meat and biscuits.
There will be collection points for students to leave items at the school entrances. We appreciate this year has been particularly hard for all families and will be very grateful for any donation you could give.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of students, parents and school staff, a total of 3,745 items were donated over the course of 12 days for the North Liverpool Foodbank.
This year event will run for five days, finishing on Wednesday 16 December.
