We are delighted to share our recording of our Christmas Reflection, performed by our Senior Chamber Choir, organist Daniel Greenway (Class of 2020), with readings by our Heads of School and Headteacher.
This was recorded on Wednesday 9 December 2020 in the school’s Grade II listed Fenwick-Mason Chapel under secure Covid conditions. All singers are in the Y13 group bubble, aside from the soloist, Emily O’Hanlon (7Bi) who was recorded separately. Rehearsals commenced on the 18th November and carols sung were chosen by members of the choir, in what is their last carol service.
This recording replaces our much-loved Service, which, under normal circumstances would be performed by over 100 students in three choirs, and enjoyed by a live audience of 350 parents, staff, friends and supporters. We hope that this edition captures something of that evening.
A special thank you to our Year 13 singers for their commitment, hard work and dedication to this project, and to Daniel, who goes up to Keble College, Oxford in September as Organ Scholar.
This project was made possible through the generosity of our parent body and the support of the Development Fund. Further thanks should be extended to Hans and Jane, from Handstand Productions, who have worked so hard producing this recording of such high quality over a very short time period.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas,
