Over the February half term over thirty students took to the Italian slopes in brilliant sunshine. Year 8 student Millie reflects on the trip to the popular Italian resort of Folgarida.

“I loved the ski trip as it was a new, exciting and fun experience! At meal times there were lots of local delicacies¬†that I had never sampled before including scorpion fish, which was delicious. During the day we had two ski lessons, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. By the end of the week, Simon, my instructor had helped me up so many times I had lost count. But he was very patient and helped to build my confidence enormously.¬†

Away from the slopes the evening activities were very engaging and a lot of fun. My favourite was the speed quiz, which my team won! Although the Ice Skating comes a close second!

Overall the trip was one of the best experiences of my life and I’d love to go back in the future.”
