The Blue Coat School will once again be opening its doors as part of the UK’s largest Heritage festival.
Between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September, visitors are invited to explore the Grade II* listed building, designed by Messrs. Briggs, Wolstenholme, F B Hobbs and Arnold Thornley.
Tours of the East Wing, which includes the Fenwick Memorial Chapel and the magnificent Boardroom, will be led by members of our Sixth Form prefect team. There will also be an opportunity to explore the wider School building, such as Shirley Hall and Peg Leg corridor.
This event is kindly being organised by the Liverpool Blue Coat Old Blues Association (LBCOBA), who will be on hand to serve refreshments and answer any questions you may have about the School and its history.
Access to this event can be gained via the Clock Tower entrance. No booking is required.
