Psychology

In Psychology, it is our intent to equip students with the knowledge and skills to fully appreciate the diversity and complexity of human behaviour.  We aim to ensure that students are empowered with excellent knowledge of cultural, gender, and ethical issues, but also with evaluative, reflective, and analytical skills that will enable them to develop as individuals and to contribute effectively to Society.  Through determination, hard work, and guided self-evaluation, we intend students to be fully ready for study in Higher Education, Apprenticeship, or the World of Work”. As a result of a curriculum focused on substantive and disciplinary knowledge together with direct observation and empiricism, it is our intent that students become motivated to become more knowledgeable about themselves, others, and the world around them.

Please find below the Curriculum Mapping for each Key Stage. Please note that Curriculum Maps are currently under review.
