At The Blue Coat School, the study of French equips students with a highly transferable and demonstrable skill that is both valuable and something to be proud of.

Through a carefully structured curriculum, students are immersed in the language and culture of French-speaking countries while developing strong procedural knowledge in grammar and vocabulary. Equal emphasis is placed on the four key language skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing, enabling students to communicate accurately and confidently in a range of contexts.
