At the start of 2015 Old Blue Sarah Hodgkiss from the Class of 2010 embarked on a new challenge half way across the world in South Korea. On the beautiful small island of Jeju, 280 miles south west off the capital Seoul, you can find Sarah working with TaLK, a government funded scheme providing native English speaking teachers to rural South Korean schools.

Four months into her new role Sarah has kindly provided us with an insight into how she has adapted to South Korea’s last minute culture and customs, from war drills to school children who struggle to understand the concept of hobbies, to fire and music festivals.
