Student support for local, national and international charities is a key feature of School life, with thousands raised each year for good causes.
At the start of the spring term students from 11 Graham will be raising awareness and funds for the ‘Save our Katie’ campaign. Fourteen year old Katie, who is from Wavertree, is currently battling leukaemia for a second time, and her family have set up a campaign to raise the £120,000 needed to cover the cost of American life-saving treatment. So far the appeal has raised over £73,000.
Students from 11 Graham have organised a cake sale which will take place on 24th January during break time and all funds raised will go directly to the ‘Save our Katie’ campaign.
