Tricentenary Celebrations

Tricentenary seal - 1708-2008The Blue Coat School will be three hundred years old in 2008. Accordingly, we have set up a Tricentenary Committee, which includes representatives of the School Governing Body, the Foundation Trustees, the Teaching Staff, the Parents and the Old Blues. The Tricentenary Committee has two purposes. Firstly, it will plan and prepare a programme of celebrations and special events for the year 2007-08. Secondly, it will raise funds so that the school will benefit from a special birthday present in 2008.

If you can contribute to the Special Appeal Fund please send your donation to either the Headmaster of the the Bursar at the school. Cheques should be made payable to

The target is ONE MILLION POUNDS and all benefactors will be recorded in the Squirrel Magazine at the school. The appeal will close in July 2008 when the Headmaster retires from the school.
