PROSPECTUS
THE BLUE COAT SCHOOL UNIFORM
(YEARS 7 – 11)
The Blue Coat School uniform is distinctive, and we expect that it is worn smartly and with pride.
All Students
- Navy school blazer, including badge and blue braid and cord.
- School tie worn outside a white shirt/blouse.
- Training shoes may only be worn in the playground.
- Outer clothing should be predominantly (ie more than 50%) dark blue and should not contain large motifs.
Denim or leather jackets are not permitted. - Navy bobbles or scrunches to tie hair back where required
- V neck school pullover (sleeveless or long sleeved) or cardigan with Blue Coat motif
Boys
- Charcoal Grey flannel trousers
- White shirt
- Plain black shoes of such a kind as can be polished. No flashes, tabs or laces of a different colour.
- Grey socks
Girls
- Knee length single pleat grey skirt
- White shirt or blouse
- Black flat or low heeled shoes (not boots), of such a kind as can be polished
- Grey socks or grey tights
NB
All items of clothing and personal property must be clearly marked with the name of the owner.
Full school uniform must be worn from the time the student leaves home in the morning until the time she/he arrives home in the evening.
