Development Officer 

Exciting opportunity to join our development team.

We are seeking a self-motivated heritage enthusiast to join our growing development team for an interesting new project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

‘Blue Coat for All’ will seek to engage the local community and inspire young people to get involved with our historic organ restoration project, whilst delivering wrap around educational opportunities and heritage events, enabling The Blue Coat School to preserve and celebrate its heritage from 1906 onwards.

If you have a fundraising or development background, have managed volunteers or events or have a love for heritage, then this is an amazing opportunity to work within one of the top state schools in the UK.  The successful candidate will manage the project, deliver community engagement events, establish a volunteer base and be responsible for supporting the Development team in raising additional income as well as recording and evaluating the impact of the project.

Lunchtime Corridor Steward (internal vacancy only)

We are seeking to appoint a team of Corridor Stewards to support staff in the smooth running of the lunchtime break by assisting with the movement of students around the school.

If you are able to act as a role model for the students and encourage good conduct and high standards expected at Blue Coat School then we look forward to receiving your application.
