Prior to the final performance of this year’s School production of Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Headteacher Mr Pennington and Development Officer Mr Caulkin, were delighted to accept a £10,000 donation from The Blue Coat School Parents’ Association.

This fantastic donation, presented by the Parents’ Association Chair Anuja Aneja, will go towards one of The Blue Coat School’s most ambitious fundraising projects, the School Library Appeal. Currently our library is not used to its full potential, with areas of poorly utilised space and outdated facilities and resources. Our redevelopment programme includes twenty first century technology and design ideas including silent study pods and group work stations and specially designed zonal areas for reading and School societies. Our ever growing number of avid Blue Coat bookworms will also have access to a fantastic range of books, journals and online resources at their fingertips.

Once again we would like to thank the Parents’ Association for their extremely generous support.
