To coincide with our founders’ celebration week theme, ‘the gift of education’, our next Inspiring Futures career talk will focus on the teaching profession.

Taking place on Wednesday 15th March from 1.00 p.m. in the Blundell Suite, students in Years 9 to 13 considering a career in teaching will have the opportunity to hear from two former Blue Coat students from the Class of 2001, Mr John Roberts and the current Head of History at The Blue Coat School, Mr Michael Pearson.

Both graduated from The University of Durham and both have entered the teaching profession. Despite entering the profession via different pathways, both remain extremely passionate about their role in educating others.

Students contemplating a career in law are also welcome to attend. Mr Roberts is a Joint LPC Programme Leader at BPP (Brierley, Price and Prior) University (Liverpool and Manchester) and an LPC (Legal Practice Course) and GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) Lecturer.
