At the start of 2017 the School community gathered together to welcome back and celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2016, during our annual A Level Prize Giving celebration evening.

Our latest cohort of Old Blues were praised by Liverpool Lord Mayor Roz Gladden and Wavertree MP Luciana Berger, with a number of students receiving special prizes, including the Modern Languages Prize, which this year was renamed ‘The Darren Crozier Prize for Modern Languages’, awarded to Joni Chan (pictured).

Darren, a talented linguist and former Deputy Head Boy from the Class of 1996 sadly passed away in 2013 following a battle with cancer. In Darren’s honour one of his close friends kindly made a generous donation to the School Development Fund. Awarded a number of form and progress prizes during his time at School, we are delighted to remember Darren through this special prize.
