Congratulations go to eight Year 9 Business Studies students who were crowned winners of the Survitec Make It Enterprising Challenge on Thursday 18th May.

The competition, sponsored by Survitec, took place at Liverpool Football Club stadium Anfield and involved over 100 students from across Merseyside. Organised by the Manufacturing Institute, this hands on event provided students with a fantastic opportunity to sample the manufacturing sector and a chance to develop their creativity and enterprising skills.

Competition organisers set participants, including two Blue Coat teams, a challenge to create and design a Safe Pod. Both teams presented their innovative and exciting prototypes to the judging panel, who were thoroughly impressed by their creations.

We are delighted that both teams have made it through to the regional final and wish them all the very best of luck as they prepare to take part in the next round of the competition in July.
