Despite the inclement weather our annual careers fair on Thursday 1st March is still going ahead. Students in Years 8, 11, 12 and 13 will have an opportunity to speak to representatives from a wide variety of industries and sectors, as they explore and consider which career path to pursue.

Students will also be able to enquire about degree programmes and university life at some of the country’s top higher education institutions, including Durham and Imperial College London.

A number of 20 minute talks covering areas including genetic research, computer programming and art curation, led by experts in their field, will also take place between 5.15 p.m. – 7.05 p.m.

With over 70 representatives in attendance, including international law firm DWF, global digital agency Cleversteam, Unilever, Investec, and sectors including journalism, veterinarian science, teaching and engineering, this event forms a key part of the valuable information, advice and guidance we provide our students.

Students in Years 8 and 11 are invited to attend this event, which will take place in Shirley, from 5.00 p.m. with students in Key Stage 5 welcome from 5.45 p.m. Access to this event can be gained via the Clock Tower entrance.
