As part of their transition from primary to secondary school over 130 of our Year 7 students spent two very enjoyable November days exploring the city of York. This special residential trip provided our latest cohort of students with an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and their tutors, whilst visiting city landmarks such as York Minster and the city’s historic Dungeons. One of the biggest attractions amongst students was a tour of York’s Chocolate Story where they “unwrapped the secret of Chocolate making”.

Students and teachers alike had a fantastic time with plenty of new friendships formed over the course of the trip.
